Marketing Director - Rx Pharma

J O B D E S C R I P T I O N

Job location: Barcelona, Spain.

Reporting to: Managing Director

Direct Team: 8 to 10

Mission: Take full ownership of Prescription Marketing and be responsible for profitability and results through successful marketing based on a solid understanding of customer needs, and overseeing the planning, development and execution of strategic and tactical marketing plans.

Main Roles

  • Being member of the Steering Committee will work with MD on strategic basis, for product launching defining go-to-market strategy and targets. Coordinate Rx marketing budgets to achieve organizational goals.
  • Lead solid understanding of customer needs, optimal product usage, identify new strategic business opportunities and market access considerations.
  • Lead the product promotion and branding strategy.
  • Develop life cycle management, field force strategy, positioning / messages and promotional plan to maximize brand potential
  • Coordinate internal & external resources including product marketing, market research, commercial analytics, pricing, creative and marketing communications, public relations and market access
  • Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players.
  • Organizing company conferences, trade shows, and major events.
  • Travel widely to work in field with sales and marketing team.
  • Lead a high-performance team and assuring their ongoing professional development

EDUCATION

Required: University Degree including, Business Administration or Life Sciences.

Valuable: MBA o Master in Pharmaceutical Marketing.

Languages: Good command of English, other European language skills are a plus.

BACKGROUND

Similar position in a multinational pharmaceutical company, with the following requirements:

  • 10 years of well-rounded marketing in Pharmaceutical Industry in positions of increasing responsibility with demonstrated experience developing and executing on Marketing Strategies including Go to Market.
  • Experience in a multinational company working integrated with international teams / projects.
  • Direct experience leading product launch
  • Demonstrated expertise in guiding and influencing stakeholders
  • Experience in Salesforce (or other CRM, marketing information, and project management, e-tools)
  • At least 8 years of experience in a leadership role and managing teams.
